Admissions Policy
Based on the spirit of Anglican Christianity, Kobe International University aims at researching and educating in the theory and practice of economics and rehabilitation science in compliance with the Basic Act on Education (Act No. 120 of 2006) and the School Education Act (Act No. 26 of 1947), while cultivating the total personality of its students.
Faculty of Economics
The type of students we are seeking
Based on the founding spirit and its academic base in economics, focusing mainly not on materials but on human beings, the Faculty of Economics aims to develop well-educated human resources with a global perspective and a rich sense of humanity equipped with economic theory and practical ability.Based on these educational ideas and objectives, we welcome student applications from people such as the following.

Features of Each Department
Department of Economics and Management
The objectives of the Department of Economics and Management are to promote the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the areas of economics and management and to develop human resources who can deal effectively with the complicated modern economy’s needs from a global perspective. The following abilities and qualities of students are important for nurturing human resources based on these educational goals.

Department of Global Culture Industry and Tourism
The objectives of the Department of Global Culture Industry and Tourism are to learn about how business can
unite the cultures of countries and regions to bring about better human lifestyles and to develop human
resources who can contribute to the advancement of modern society from a global perspective.
The following abilities and qualities of students are important for nurturing human resources based on these
educational goals.

Faculty of Rehabilitation
The type of students we are seeking
Based on the founding spirit and its academic aim of pursuing “Human Health and Welfare” founded on “The
fundamental human right to health” which is the origin of rehabilitation treatment, the objectives of the
department of Physical Therapy in the Faculty of Rehabilitation is to train promising physical therapists to play
central roles in rehabilitation, not only with special knowledge and skills, but also with a rich education and sense of humanity.
Based on these educational ideas and objectives, we welcome student applications from people such as the
following.
- People who have a great awareness of the need of other people to lead active lives through rehabilitation, and who can appropriately express their own motivation and compassion toward such people
- People who understand working as medical professionals in multidisciplinary teams and who have a high level of curiosity regarding a sense of purpose and studying so that thay can positively acquire specialist knowledge and techniques.
- People who grasp the comprehensive nature of rehabilitation so that they can work and contribute as leaders in their communities and who have the desire to be active in the international areana in the future.
