International Center

International Center provides a place where students can enjoy global exchange in people and culture based on its mission of encouraging international exchange.

  • Location: 1st floor, Building 2
  • Hours: 9:15 am to 5:00 pm
    (closed on Sundays, public holidays, and other holidays as scheduled by the University)

International exchange

The Center offers the following services to promote international exchange:

  • Opening of the Center’s library (international student salon)
  • Counseling on overseas trips, study abroad, and related topics
  • Processing of applications and admission procedures for overseas studies, exchange programs, and Overseas Studies in China
  • Promotion of exchanges with overseas universities
  • Acceptance and processing of applications for exchange programs
  • Lifestyle guidance, academic advice, and career/study counseling for international students (in Japanese, English, Vietnamese, and Chinese)
  • Processing of scholarship and tuition exemptions for international students
  • Holding field trips, cultural events, welcome/farewell parties, etc.

Japanese Language College

The Center offers the following support services to students of the Japanese Language College:

  • Academic advice and support (in Japanese, English, Vietnamese, and Chinese)
  • Lifestyle guidance and support
  • Issuance of various certificates
  • Granting of a certificate of completion to students who have been completed

Center resources

Books and newspapers: In addition to English- and Chinese-language newspapers, the Center has a collection of about 600 books on English conversation and language study, abroad programs, tests such as the TOEIC and TOEFL, Japanese language, and other Subjects (available for lending).
Computers: English- and Chinese-capable computers
Subsidy for the cost of language proficiency tests: It is available to subsidize a part of the cost of language proficiency tests (up to two tests per year per student).
